We have developed a reputation as a preeminent leader in land services, working with some of the most influential independent and major oil and gas companies, including Browning Oil, Enserch, Mitchell Energy, Devon Energy, UPRC, Anadarko, XTO, Double Eagle, to name a few. Our team knows what it takes to successfully and efficiently develop and manage a project from start to finish – and anywhere in between.
Our Founder
Bob Sample graduated from Texas Tech University with a degree in Earth, Soil and Science. Soon after graduating, Bob began working in the oil and gas industry as an independent landman. In 1989, Bob founded Bob Sample & Associates, Inc. to provide oil and gas brokerage services. Bob assembled a team of exceptional landmen who helped make the firm one of the most successful in the industry.
Bob passed away in April 2013 after battling leukemia. With customer service as his top priority, Bob had built a team of experts to help him carry out his goal of providing quality professional land services. Empowered in their roles, the team at BSA continues to pursue his vision of extraordinary customer service and industry expertise, now under the leadership of his son, Travis.
